'Bobby Digital In Stereo' provoked strong reactions - the rapid rhyming meant it seemed to be an album either loved or hated. 'Digital Bullet' clocking in at 18 full quality tracks will, i imagine fare considerably better, not least because of current banger 'La Rhumba', which is collecting widespread props.

Since 'The W' ( don't call it a comeback) the man who reportedly has scores of written and ready rhymes he thinks the public at large aren't yet ready to digest, considering the response to some of the more hardcore and obscure Wu matieral, seems to be making it a little easier, while not dumbing down his ethos one little bit, for the current rap audience (who are spoonfed jiggy rituals) to get with his shit. Make no mistake at all though, RZA's way of making his music more accessible simply means that the jewels are easier to find - not that some well known singer has sung the hook on a cheesy track.

The only real disappointment is that the first tune 'Show U Love' uses part of the same break as 'We Made It' from Ghostface Killa's 'Supreme Clientele' thus sounding pretty much the same. Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Lyrics Pdf there. After that it's pure quality. Next tune 'Can't Lose' is the epitome of the phrase 'simple but effective', and 'Brooklyn Babies' with it's ever altering tempo and hollerings of an unhappy wifey is another definite pleaser.

Putting in a welcome appearance with his own particularly unique take on the whole babymamadrama/child support issue is ODB who takes over ' Black Widow Pt.2'. He doesn't really rhyme, nor does he make a whole lot of sense but somehow Ol' Dirty still manages to sound good. My advice is not to play this tune when attempting to chirps an Erykah/Jill/Ursula loving earth mother. She will not be impressed. Taking part in the current east coast trend for having one southern style bounce track on their albums the laidback 'Domestic Violence Pt 2' featuring Bigg Gipp from Goodie Mob provides one fo' the slabs. Other highlights include the knowledge laden 'Do U' featuring Gza and Prodical and 'Righteous Way' with Junior Reid.

'Digital Bullet' is a brilliant teaser for the forthcoming Wu album and the solo matieral from Ghostface and Inspectah Deck. More than anything it should confirm once and for all RZA's reputation as a great emcee.
